A local church is sending a team to Tanzania this
Summer, and have asked if we’d like to send correspondence to the children we support in Dodoma. Have your cards and letters in to Green Valley by July 20th, so we can get them to the team in time to make
the plane!

Church secretary Claudette Perry is still on vacation this week. Val
Bushon is filling in, but is not in the office at regular times so leave a message on the recorder and she’ll get back to you.

Green Valley is looking for a few good people to help with a
Children's Wing classroom project. We want to use our space more efficiently, and make it easier for our teachers to access both the classrooms and the supplies. If you are interested in helping with planning
the project, moving stuff, remodeling & painting rooms or just want to help where you can, contact Mike Nicholson for more information.

 Promise Keepers is coming to Fresno on June 27-28. See the flyer in today’s bulletin for speaker information. If you are interested in
attending, please see Pastor Scott or Dominic Piccolo. GVCC’s men plan to purchase the tickets as a group, so please give your registration and payment to them.

“JEANS AND JERSEYS”
 Father’s Day Cookout
This Father’s Day, June 15th, we’ll be honoring our Dads and
fellowshipping together in a big way. You won’t want to miss it. Plan on wearing jeans and jerseys and save the date. Join us all as we celebrate Dads, have a BBQ and potluck
lunch after church on the front lawn. Green Valley will supply the hamburgers and you bring the rest. There will even be a few surprises. LOOK for the sign up sheet in the lobby soon.

Our Worship Team has undergone a lot of changes recently and several people have stepped up and taken on new responsibilities. One of those people is Mary
MacLean, who is selecting the songs we sing each Sunday. She’s also back singing and leading the team occasionally when Dietrich or Dave isn’t available. We
appreciate her willingness to serve and are blessed by her singing and her smiles. Mary is our Minister of the Month for May!
